Luang Prabang: The pearl of the Mekong

Luang Prabang

Our stay in Luang Prabang was enlightened by the warm welcome of our local guide and the meeting with Francis ENGELMANN, former UNESCO consultant. Passionate about his country, the guide introduced us to local rituals, in particular the BACI ceremony, a deep and sincere emotional sharing that allowed us to plunge into the soul of Laos.

Hanoi

Exceptional hotel in a great location. A guide who knows the history perfectly and highlights the key events in Vietnamese history. The refined cuisine in the restaurants is a delight. Visit to the pagoda with the single pillar, a vestige steeped in history. An unforgettable show of puppeteers on water presenting scenes from everyday life.

Halong Bay

Sailing Halong Bay in a smaller boat created the intimate atmosphere of a private cruise. Between majestic landscapes and karst formations, every moment was a delight. Taïchi classes at sunrise and tasty meals on board enriched this unique experience.

Siem Reap

Visiting the temples of Angkor, from the majestic Angkor Wat to the mystical Ta Prohm, was a real journey back in time. Our local guide, an archaeological expert, enriched our experience with fascinating anecdotes and information about these architectural marvels.

Phnom Penh

Meetings with Princess Sita and Prince Tessot gave us unique insights into Cambodian history. The elegant Raffles Hotel, a reflection of the colonial spirit, and the enriching visit to the Mint Museum heightened our appreciation of Cambodian resilience, magnificently relayed by our guide.

- BHUTAN -

Thimphou

An exceptional guide, he understands our approach and incorporates it into his guidance, with exceptional encounters that he was able to initiate. Timphu revealed a modern Bhutan while preserving its traditions. This spiritual and physical experience, guided with care and encouragement, will remain engraved in our memories.

Punakha

Punakha, with its impressive dzong situated where the two rivers meet, offers spectacular views and indescribable serenity. Our walks in the valley and the stories shared by our local guide added a spiritual dimension to our journey. The visit to the 51.5-metre-high Dordenma Buddha was impressive.

- BHUTAN -

Paro

There was no time to get bored, with a programme packed with activities. Between the archery competition, the day and night markets and the village visits to explore Bhutanese history, every moment was packed with discoveries. The meeting with the monks and the 'Tiger's Nest' excursion were the highlights of this stopover.
